Life Since High School: |
|
joined the Army right out of EPHS, studied ar EPCC and got to be an x-ray tech, kept in school and got accepted to Medical School. Trained at Texas Tech in Emergency Medicine which I worked on along with a private practice for indigent or minority Americans. In 1991 Iraq invaded Kuwait and I volunteered for combat duty as a Combat Field Surgeon with the 1st. Armored Division. I earned 3 Bronzestar Medals along with the Combat Medic Badge and many other medals along my career. Got married along the way to Sylvia Couder, from Burgess class of 1971. Now I am retired and a disabled veteran since I got exposed to Mustard and Sarin Gas along with what the government has called Enviromental Contaminents. It has been a great ride that began at Vilas, to Lamar and then my Gem; EPHS! Thank you all for the great memories, I often thought of all those great guys and gals I grew up with as I served our Country from many places on this earth. |

Favorite School Story / Experience: |
|
I was at EPHS for 5 years from 8th grade on, those were truely the best years of my life. The memories so many, involve so many of you that it is most difficult to have a starting point. If ever I see you, my classmates again I am sure that the best will surface and we shall laugh and tear up with a toast to our lives together. |
| Current Life Motto: |
|
Live life in any form as long as you make positive impact on this world, regardless of how big or small, just make a difference. In our passing those we leave behind will have a gold standard by which to live their lives.
My mottos while on active duty for the Army:
1. Above all Life
2. So That Others May Live
3. Maintain the Force, Win the Battle
4. Someone shoots them I Patch Them
5. Remember whatever you do here and now will forever follow you, do the right and honorable
